Zusammenfassung

AlphaESS Europe seeks an experienced Owner's Representative to lead Battery Energy Storage System projects from Ready-to-Build through Commercial Operation Date. You will coordinate EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, grid operators and third-party stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and successful commissioning.

You will oversee EPC contract execution, milestones, grid connection testing, commissioning and project acceptance, and conduct regular site visits across Europe to resolve

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience managing projects from RTB to COD.
• Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or power engineering project management.
• Solid understanding of EPC management and grid connection processes for European energy storage projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across Europe.
• English required; a second European language is a plus (e.g., German, Spanish, or Polish).

• Act as the Owner's Representative and take full responsibility for managing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from Ready-to-Build (RTB) through Commercial Operation Date (COD).
• Coordinate EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, grid operators, and third-party stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and successfully commissioned.
• Oversee EPC contract execution, key project milestones, grid connection testing, commissioning, and project acceptance.
• Conduct regular site visits across Europe to supervise project execution, identify on-site issues, and drive timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal investment, legal, finance, and operations teams to manage project risks, changes, and cross-functional activities during the construction phase.
• Ensure a smooth handover of completed projects to the Operations team, delivering compliant and operational assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in renewable energy, energy storage, or power engineering project management, with hands‑on experience managing projects from RTB to COD.
• Solid understanding of EPC management and grid connection processes for European energy storage projects.
• English is required as the working language. Proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, Spanish, or Polish) is highly preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project sites across Europe.
