Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex energy projects in Germany. You will oversee all phases from Ready to Build to commissioning, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule and quality targets.

You will conduct site visits, issue releases, and manage contractor performance while coordinating with investors, authorities, and grid operators. The role requires strong negotiation skills and intercultural sensitivity in an international setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience with increasing scope.
• Experience in EPC contracting, commissioning and site releases.

Aufgaben

• Lead projects from RTB through commissioning, ensuring cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve on-site issues.
• Forecast, track and report project performance consistently.
• Review and manage EPC and supplier contracts for compliance.

• Guide teams and help evolve project standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for approved projects and manage them across all project phases; from RTB (Ready to Build), construction and grid connection through to commissioning
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and to clarify and resolve operational issues on site
• Comprehensive tracking, forecasting and reporting to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and quality targets
• Review, manage and enforce EPC and supplier contracts to ensure full contractual compliance
• Represent the project to external stakeholders such as investors, authorities and grid operators
• Lead project teams and actively contribute to shaping and further developing project standards, benchmarks and processes within the organization

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management with demonstrable increases in responsibility, task complexity and measurable project successes
• Experience in project commissioning, including tracking contractor performance and issuing site releases in the context of construction progress and quality control
• Strong negotiation skills and a high level of intercultural sensitivity in an international business environment
• Business‑fluent English (spoken and written) and German at C1 level
• Willingness to travel extensively within Germany
