Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. Kelheim site specializes in developing and producing camera systems in the high-performance sector, applying photonic innovation for scientific and industrial applications.

The holding company seeks a strategic Controlling professional to partner with plant management and guide financial decisions. You will own the Kelheim site's controlling activities, drive monthly/annual closings, budgeting, forecasts, and capital investment planning, while enhancing reporting

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance or related field, preferably with a focus on Controlling.
• Several years of controlling experience in an international environment.
• Experience in project or process management.
• Strong English communication and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kelheim and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic business partner to plant management and key functions.
• Own controlling activities for the Kelheim site – reports, analyses, and insights.
• Manage investment controlling and support capital investment planning and execution.
• Contribute to monthly and year-end closing activities and forecasts.
• Coordinate budgeting process for the Kelheim site.
• Continuously enhance controlling tools, reporting processes and analytics.
• Support and manage funding and grant-related projects for the site.

Your tasks

• Serve as a strategic business partner to plant management and other key functions, providing guidance on financial and business-related matters.
• Take ownership of controlling activities for the Kelheim site, delivering meaningful reports, analyses, and insights to support informed business decisions.
• Manage investment controlling and provide financial guidance throughout the planning and execution of capital investment projects.
• Actively contribute to the preparation of monthly and year-end closing activities as well as forecasts.
• Coordinate and take ownership of the budgeting process for the Kelheim site.
• Apply your expertise to special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Continuously enhance existing controlling tools, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
• Support and manage funding and grant-related projects for the Kelheim site.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and actively drive the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

Your Profile

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Controlling.
• Experience in project and/or process management.
• Several years of controlling experience in an international business environment.
• Strong English communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to actively drive and embrace change.
• A genuine passion for the responsibilities described above and the motivation to contribute to the success of both the team and the organization.
