GULP Information Services GmbH is recruiting for a data-driven simulation specialist to drive digital transformation in automotive production in Stuttgart, joining one of the world’s leading premium car manufacturers.

You will independently gather requirements from multiple departments, build simulation models and optimization tools, and map complex processes in production, engineering, and logistics. Fluency in German and English, plus strong analytical skills, are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a mathematical-technical discipline.
• Knowledge of process and material flow analysis and simulation.
• Experience with simulation tools (AnyLogic, AlFa, Plant Simulation).
• Programming knowledge in Java, C++ or Python.
• Experience in data analytics, process mining, AI, or Celonis is advantageous.
• Knowledge of logistics, shell construction, surface finishing or assembly is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and abstract thinking; able to present complex issues clearly.
• Fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong teamwork, high commitment and communication skills.

• Gather requirements from multiple departments and derive concrete projects.

• Develop and expand internal simulation cloud Maya and digital analysis solutions.
• Support development and global implementation of cross-functional, cross-plant standards.

Drive the digital transformation in automotive production and shape the efficient, sustainable logistics and manufacturing processes of the future at one of the world's leading premium car manufacturers using data-driven simulation models. Your responsibilities will include: independently gathering requirements from various departments, deriving concrete projects, and integrating them into the overall context; developing simulation models and optimization tools in close collaboration with departments and through continuous team exchange; digitally mapping, evaluating, and optimizing complex processes in production, engineering, and logistics using analytics and simulation tools; conducting quantitative analyses to provide sound support for investment decisions such as AGV rollouts, infrastructure projects, or buffer design; independently planning and executing detailed simulation studies; contributing to the design and implementation of data-driven analysis, process mining, and AI use cases in the production and logistics environment; further developing the internal simulation cloud "Maya" and digital analysis solutions for sustainable decision support; and actively participating in the development and global implementation of new cross-functional and cross-plant standards.

• A very good degree in a mathematical-technical discipline such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, computer science or similar.
• Sound knowledge of process and material flow analysis as well as practical simulation
• User knowledge of simulation tools such as AnyLogic, AlFa or Plant Simulation, or the willingness to learn them.
• Knowledge of a common programming language such as Java, C++ or Python, or the willingness to learn it, is required.
• Prior experience in data analytics, process mining, AI applications, data visualization, or Celonis is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge in the trades of logistics, shell construction, surface finishing or assembly, as well as a broad perspective beyond one's own specialist area.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and abstract thinking skills for presenting complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target audience.
• Fluent German and English skills; additional foreign languages such as Spanish are an advantage.
