Zusammenfassung

TXT PACE in Germany is seeking a Simulation & Avionics Systems Engineer to contribute to modelling, simulation and development of complex avionics systems for Space/Aerospace. You will develop and maintain the overall system simulation, model data, and verification activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, at least 2 years in Space/Aerospace, and strong English communication. German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in Space/Aerospace, esp. simulation of complex avionics systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• German language skills are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Derive, implement and test component models and maintain the overall system simulation.
• Contribute to the code base used for model evaluation and analysis and for generating reports.
• Perform structured software testing on your implementations and those by others.
• Collaborate with experts on model derivation and validation, updating model data and structure.
• Perform system identification for component and overall system models based on test data.
• Support other teams in using models for Flight Control Software verification or concept design studies.
• Continuously improve concepts, tools and methodologies.

TXT PACE is looking for a Simulation & Avionics Systems Engineer to join its team and contribute to modelling, simulation and development activities for complex avionics systems in the Space/Aerospace sector.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall system simulation, working on component modelling, model analysis and validation, as well as verification activities in collaboration with different technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Derive, implement and test component models, contributing to the maintenance of the overall system simulation;
• Contribute to the code base used for model evaluation and analysis and for generating the related reports;
• Perform structured software testing on your own implementations and those developed by other team members, while maintaining the code structure and related documentation;
• Collaborate with technical experts on model derivation and validation activities, integrating updates related to model data and structure;
• Perform system identification activities for component models and overall system models based on test data;
• Support other technical teams in the use of models, for example for Flight Control Software verification or concept design studies;
• Critically analyse and continuously improve technical concepts, tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
• At least 2 years of experience in the Space/Aerospace sector, particularly in the simulation of complex avionics systems, preferably in the Space domain;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Written and spoken German is considered a plus.

Employment Terms

• Gross annual salary: €55,000 – €65,000;
