Role - Ship Engineering Consultant
Duration- 6 months
You will be responsible for liaison on various retrofit activities on shipping projects for a customer in HAM – between physical changes on the ship structure and the team in India which will be responsible for implementing the changes in drawings. You will be assisted by another Indian focal point in Germany – who will be working with you.
The activities planned involve updating various data sets (drawings, excels, etc.).
The person should have a good overview of designing, analyzing, and detailing ship structures, systems, and outfitting. The role involves working knowledge through the full design lifecycle (from basic / concept design through detailed design) understand modifications and their impacts, ensuring compliance with classification society rules and statutory regulations, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and production as needed.
