Zusammenfassung

Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH at Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER and Nürnberg Airport NUE is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to join the maintenance team. You will repair aircraft body structures and parts, and operate bending machines, English Wheel, drills and grinders.

Candidates must show proven sheet metal and structural repair experience, knowledge of technical drawings, and a flexible, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold demonstrable experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair.
• Knowledge of technical drawing and ability to read maintenance data.
• Willingness to train non-skilled personnel and work shifts.

Aufgaben

• Repair aircraft body structures and parts on Ryanair fleet.
• Perform metalworking operations: cutting, drilling, countersinking, riveting and bucking.
• Operate bending machines, English Wheel and related tools.
• Identify suitable repair solutions per Maintenance Repair Manuals.
• Support shift leader and hangar manager with tasks.

Description

We are Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH.

Based at Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER, we were founded in 2018 and are a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair.

The Irish airline group currently operates a fleet of 590 modern Boeing 737NG and MAX 10, Boeing 737-8200 Game Changer, and Airbus A320 aircrafts. We will continue to expand by more than 300 aircraft by 2030.

At Ryanair Engineering Germany, our engineers and mechanics are responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircrafts in multiple stations all across Germany.

We are currently looking for aSheet Metal Worker to join us in Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) or Nürnberg Airport (NUE).

Role

• Aircraft body structure and parts repair on Ryanair fleet aircraft, in according with approved maintenance data and procedures
• Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking work.
• Working with, amongst others, relevant equipment -Bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening, Drill or Grinder as usual working tools.
• To find the most suitable repair solutions and implementation in according to the Maintenance Repair Manuals
• Any other duties as requested by your Shift Leader / Hangar Manager

Requirements

• Must hold demonstrable experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair
• Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment
• Must be flexible, including availability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
• Excellent communication skills – fluent English is essential
• Good computer literacy
• Willing to work shift
• A valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union (VISA Support unavailable for this position)
• A valid EU driver’s license
• Preferably a valid German security clearance according to § 7 of German Aviation Security Act
