Overview

Job Opportunity: ServiceNow Migration Specialist (Non-PROD Migration – On-Prem to Cloud)

Location: Remote

Contract Type: Freelance

Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a global tech organization, is hiring an experienced ServiceNow Migration Specialist to lead and support a non-production (non-PROD) environment migration from a Managed Service Provider (MSP)-hosted instance to the ServiceNow Cloud. This is a critical transitional project and requires strong technical expertise and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision new non-PROD environment for the client in ServiceNow Cloud.
• Set up sFTP server for data exchange (including access for Operations Services).
• Perform initial configuration setup for data upload.
• Provide team members with access to the new instance.
• Execute First Load and Final Load of data.
• Apply configuration changes, including: Locking out all users, disabling integrations, and setting the platform to read-only mode.

Skillset

• Proven experience with ServiceNow migrations, specifically from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Experience working with MSP-hosted ServiceNow environments.
• Ability to collaborate with customer stakeholders and database operations/support teams.
• Strong understanding of data transfer protocols, configuration best practices, and system provisioning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
