ServiceNow Administrator and Developer (ITSM)

Responsibilities
- As a ServiceNow administrator and developer, you will operate our multi-level ServiceNow platform (Dev / Test / Prod) and develop it further with a view to the requirements of the specialist departments (ITSM, SPM, ITAM).
- You take over 2nd level support tasks for complex technical problems, analyze root causes and escalate to ServiceNow Vendor Support if required.
- You will also be involved in patch and release management, including the planning of semi-annual ServiceNow upgrades and impact analyses for custom code.
- You act as an interface between platform owners, module owners (ITSM / SPM / ITAM) and external service providers - from the first consultation to go-live and ensure the functionality of the implementation even after go-live.
- The implementation of interface and integration requirements (e.g. through REST APIs or the use of spokes) is also one of your regular tasks.
- You are happy to pass on your experience to your team and build knowledge base articles for 1st level support.
Requirements
- Your sound IT know-how, which you have acquired e.g. through training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification, is complemented by 3+ years of professional experience at technical and / or process level with ServiceNow.
- You already have several years of experience in the operation and development of the ServiceNow platform (especially ITSM modules).
- You also have a good understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management, etc.) and 2nd level support activities (troubleshooting, escalation management).
- You are familiar with the configuration and programming of customer-specific extensions (business rules, workflows, client scripts) with integrated developer tools.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, REST, Integration Hub, Flow Designer is an advantage.
- Ideally, you have a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and / or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- You have experience in managing service providers in the on & offshore area.
- You have a solution- and process-oriented way of thinking and possess analytical strengths as well as stress resistance in critical incidents.
- German (C1 level) is mandatory, written and spoken English skills are available.
