A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines in Husum, Schleswig-Holstein. You will conduct maintenance on wind turbines, implement efficiency retrofits, and document your work. You will receive onboarding and internal training in wind turbine maintenance through the Vestas Academy, and certification as an electrically skilled worker in accordance with DIN‑VDE 0105‑100.

About the Position

As a Service Technician, you and your team will be responsible for the maintenance work on wind turbines (WTGs) following standardized maintenance plans. You’ll implement retrofits to enhance turbine efficiency and document all tasks using modern digital tools. Your site presence greatly influences team collaboration, day‑to‑day operations, and the sustained effectiveness of clean energy initiatives throughout the region.

What You’ll Need to Thrive:
  • Completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering, metalwork, mechanical/automotive engineering, or building and supply technology. Individuals with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work without supervision and create technical documentation.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft and iOS systems; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
  • A valid Class B or BE driver’s license.
  • Fluent German and basic English.
