OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Mainz sucht einen Servic engineer (m/f/d) für eine befristete Anstellung über 18 Monate. Sie planen und koordinieren Montageaktivitäten, entwickeln kosteneffiziente Montageskonzepte und unterstützen nationale sowie internationale Einsätze.

Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Ingenieurstudium, Erfahrung in Stahlbau/Anlagenprojekte und beherrschen Deutsch und Englisch. Reisebereitschaft wird vorausgesetzt; Weiterbildung, flexible Arbeitszeit und eine attraktive

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Bau-/Maschinenbau oder Ähnlichem.
• Erfahrung in Planung/Ausführung von Stahlbau, Maschinenbau oder Anlagenprojekten.
• Sicherer Umgang mit Office, CAD-Software und Planungstools.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Bereitschaft zu nationaler/internationaler Reise.

Responsibilities

• Entwicklung und Planung kosteneffizienter Montageskonzepte und Montagehilfsmittel.
• Planung, Koordination und Optimierung aller Montageaktivitäten vor Ort.
• Beschaffung und Überwachung von Montagehilfsmitteln und Ausrüstung.
• Unterstützung der Bauplanung bei nationalen und internationalen Standorten.
• Kosten-, Termin- und Fortschrittsüberwachung im Verantwortungsbereich.
• Eigenständige technische Ansprechpartnerfunktion vor Ort für weltweite Installationen.

Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Develop and plan cost-effective assembly concepts, installation equipment, and support structures in close cooperation with relevant engineering and project teams
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize all assembly activities and workflows to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution on site
• Define, procure, and oversee the required installation aids and assembly equipment to guarantee quality, safety, and precision during execution
• Support execution planning activities and ensure the successful implementation of assembly concepts at national and international project sites
• Take responsibility for monitoring costs, schedules, and progress within the assigned scope while contributing to the continuous improvement of assembly processes
• Independently provide engineering support for worldwide installation, commissioning, and service activities, acting as the technical point of contact on site

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience in the planning and execution of structural steel, mechanical engineering, or industrial plant projects, with solid knowledge of design, structural analysis, and engineering principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, engineering and planning software, and industry-standard CAD tools, combined with a good understanding of project management principles
• Structured and analytical working style with excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, as well as a strong problem-solving mindset
• Professional and confident presence, high reliability, determination, and a strong focus on quality, cost efficiency, and results
• Good written and spoken German and English skills, along with willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
