Job summary

Körber GBS Finance seeks a seasoned AP Service Delivery Leader to drive global AP standardization, automation, and strong P2P stakeholder alignment. You will oversee an international team of about 50 colleagues across Central Europe, Transatlantic, and APAC, ensuring reliable and compliant AP operations.

You will partner with Process Owners, IT, and Business stakeholders to harmonize AP processes, implement automation roadmaps, and strengthen internal controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in business/finance or related field.
• Strong leadership experience in Accounts Payable / P2P in international/matrix setup.
• Deep AP & P2P process knowledge: PO/non-PO, GR/IR, approvals, month-end close, controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP service delivery for Körber GBS Finance across regions, ensuring reliable, compliant operations.
• Manage international team of ~50, ensuring governance and performance.
• Standardize, harmonize AP processes globally with IT partners, including automation and SAP S/4 alignment.
• Drive cross-functional P2P collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and Finance.
• Monitor AP KPIs, SLAs, automation rates, aging, and drive sustainable remediation of gaps.

Lead Accounts Payable service delivery across Körber GBS Finance, managing international teams while driving global AP standardization, automation, and strong P2P stakeholder alignment.

The position can be filled from any relevant location, with specific arrangements and details to be discussed during the interview process.

Your role in our team

Service Delivery Leadership

• You lead the Accounts Payable service delivery organization within Körber GBS Finance across Central Europe, Transatlantic, and APAC, taking ownership for reliable, compliant, and customer-oriented AP operations
• You manage an international organization of approximately 50 employees across multiple teams and key Körber sites, ensuring clear governance, consistent service standards, and strong operational performance

Process Standardization & Automation

• Together with Process Owners, GBS Finance, and IT, you professionalize, standardize, and harmonize AP processes globally, including invoice receipt and validation, exception handling, approval workflows, payment preparation, supplier account clarification, open-item management, and month-end close support
• A key focus is the global harmonization of AP automation, including SAP S/4 and other ERP requirements, workflow standards, reporting, and controls

Stakeholder Management & P2P Collaboration

• As a senior AP contact for Procurement, Logistics, Operations, local Finance, Master Data, and suppliers, you build strong professional relationships and improve end-to-end P2P collaboration
• You drive root-cause resolution for blocked invoices, PO/GR mismatches, and master-data issues to increase first-time-right quality and reduce invoice cycle times

Performance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

• You monitor AP KPIs, service levels, automation and touchless-processing rates, invoice aging, and escalation volumes
• Based on these insights, you ensure sustainable remediation of control gaps and inefficiencies rather than short-term fixes

International Team Leadership & Change

• You lead virtual, international teams in a matrix organization, balancing global standards with regional requirements
• You support experienced managers and experts through operating-model and automation change while fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration

Your profile

• You hold a completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, or a comparable field of study
• You bring several years of leadership experience in Accounts Payable, procure-to-pay, finance operations, shared services, or GBS, ideally in an international or matrix organization
• You demonstrate strong AP and P2P process expertise, including PO and non-PO invoice processing, approval workflows, GR/IR topics, blocked-invoice management, supplier inquiries, month-end close support, internal controls, and reporting
• With practical experience in AP automation solutions and SAP, ideally including SAP S/4 process design or transformation exposure, you are comfortable translating business needs into standard processes, automation requirements, and scalable controls
• You have proven experience leading multi-regional teams, setting consistent standards while respecting regional stakeholder needs, local regulations, and differing process maturities
• As a confident and empathic people manager, you develop experts and managers, build trust across regions, and lead teams through standardization, automation, and change
• You are fluent in English; German or other additional languages are an advantage
• A track record in shaping future-oriented AP operating models, including automation roadmaps, governance, and change management, complements your profile
