Ørsted A/S in Germany is seeking an offshore Operations Execution specialist to act as the technical go-to person for complex turbine faults and corrective work on Siemens direct-drive 6 MW turbines. You’ll prepare work packages, analyse issues, and support technicians offshore.

You will develop safe, effective work instructions, supervise technicians, and coordinate pre-sail briefings and short-term planning.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting experience with Siemens direct-drive 6 MW wind turbines or closely comparable turbine technology.
• Electrical apprenticeship or recognised technical training is required.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical turbine systems, fault diagnosis, SCADA, and specialist tooling.

Responsabilités

• Analyse turbine faults and provide immediate technical support to technicians offshore.
• Prepare work packages for troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities.
• Carry out complex fault-finding and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
• Coordinate corrective tasks, including pre-sail briefings, debriefings, and short-term work planning.
• Create and improve work instructions, troubleshooting trees, and technical documentation.
• Supervise, coach, and share knowledge with less experienced technicians.

Join us in this role where you’ll be a technical go-to person for complex turbine faults and corrective work. You’ll prepare work packages, analyse turbine issues, support technicians offshore, and help develop safe and effective work instructions for Siemens direct-drive 6 MW turbines.

You’ll play an important role in:

• analysing turbine faults and providing immediate technical support to technicians offshore
• preparing work packages for troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities
• carrying out complex fault-finding and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines
• coordinating corrective tasks, including pre-sail briefings, debriefings, and short-term work planning
• creating and improving work instructions, troubleshooting trees, and technical documentation
• supervising, coaching, and sharing technical knowledge with less experienced technicians.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have strong troubleshooting experience with Siemens direct-drive 6 MW wind turbines or closely comparable turbine technology
• have completed an electrical apprenticeship, recognised technical training, or equivalent experience
• bring extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical turbine systems, fault diagnosis, SCADA, and specialist tooling
• demonstrate strong safety awareness and can provide clear technical and operational guidance to others
• communicate effectively and are comfortable supervising, coaching, and transferring technical knowledge
• are able to work at height and offshore as part of a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation.
