Jobtailor in the DC area seeks an experienced web designer and content manager to develop and maintain client web content, and to provide technical leadership to junior staff.

You will maintain internal and external pages, design user-centered sites to maximize engagement, and prototype new pages while exploring innovative ways to present and collect information on the web.

• Provides support for developing and maintaining web content utilized by clients
• Provides technical leadership to less experienced staff in the same role
• Maintains documents, web pages, and communication on internal and external websites
• Designs user-centered websites that maximize user engagement
• Utilizes user flow construction and optimization techniques
• Develops prototypes of new pages
• Recommends new and innovative ways to present and collect information on the web

Requirements

• Ten (10) or more years of experience in website design and management
• Ten (10) or more years of experience developing and delivering web content using Drupal, HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Experience Manager, AuthorWeb, Qualtrics, Turning Point, and other similar tools
• Experience developing presentations and presenting to clients
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Candidates local to the DC area are preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Active public trust security clearance (MBI) or the ability to obtain and maintain one
