welevel is seeking a Senior Unreal Technical Artist to bridge art and engineering in Munich. You will shape scalable tools and workflows for high-end real-time visuals across materials, VFX, UI, and character pipelines.

Collaborate across disciplines to deliver visually compelling features while optimizing performance. Onsite in Munich, with relocation support and a dynamic development pace.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years as a Technical Artist, VFX Artist, or similar role.
• Experience on AAA PC or console games.
• Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Technical art skills in materials, VFX, UI, procedural tools, or character/animation pipelines.
• Solid understanding of real-time rendering and performance optimization.
• Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany.
• Valid EU work authorization.

Aufgaben

• Develop and support technical art solutions in Unreal Engine 5 across materials, VFX, UI, procedural systems, and character/animation pipelines.
• Create and integrate high-quality real-time visual features, effects, and gameplay-driven systems.
• Build scalable tools, pipelines, and workflows that improve content creation and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to deliver visually compelling, performant, and maintainable features.
• Optimize visual systems and debug rendering, pipeline, and performance issues using Unreal Engine profiling tools.
• Research, prototype, and implement new technical art solutions, keeping up with advances in Unreal Engine and real-time graphics.

Your Role

As a Senior Unreal Technical Artist, you will bridge art and engineering by creating scalable solutions that improve visual quality, workflows, and performance.
