Zusammenfassung

welevel seeks an AI Developer to infuse intelligence into SolidRiver's game mechanics. You’ll design and refine AI for characters and creatures, collaborating with designers to ensure challenging, narrative-driven gameplay.

Using Unreal Engine 5, you’ll implement pathfinding, behavior trees, and state machines, align AI with animation and design teams, and continuously test and optimize for realism and performance. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as an AI Developer.
• Experience on AAA PC or console games.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
• Familiarity with Behavior Trees and Blackboards.
• Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany.
• Valid EU work authorization.

• Collaborate with game designers to ensure AI-driven elements challenge and entertain players while fitting the game's narrative.

• Create pathfinding algorithms, decision trees, and state machines to facilitate natural character movements.
• Work in tandem with the animation and design teams to synchronize AI behaviors with visual cues.
• Continuously test, debug, and improve AI components to ensure they meet the desired quality benchmarks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in game AI, integrating novel techniques and tools to enhance gameplay realism.
• Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring that AI systems are well-understood and maintainable.
