Your responsibilities

• Manage individual trading portfolios and proprietary trading strategies across power, gas, coal, and carbon markets.
• Collaborate with analysts to develop trading strategies and ideas.
• Maintain close relations with risk management colleagues.
• Develop and expand data-driven decision-making processes.

Your profile

• Relevant economic or finance degree or similar qualification.
• Experience trading EUAs and Continental power markets, with a background as a Senior Trader.
• Proven track record of profitable proprietary trading.
• Experience in international trading houses, banks, or utilities, focusing on news-driven trading rather than flow trading.
• Detailed knowledge of EUA and German power market specifications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
