In this role, you will identify and attract highly specialized technical experts and product professionals, build local talent networks and recruitment channels, and partner closely with business leaders and HR colleagues in China to support our global expansion.
This is an individual contributor role suited to someone who combines strong sourcing and recruitment execution skills with business understanding, stakeholder management and the ability to engage senior, often passive, candidates across European markets.
The position can be based in Germany or Suzhou, China, depending on the candidate's experience and suitability. Frequent travel to Germany and other European markets will be required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Senior & Specialist Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior professionals and technical experts across Europe, with a focus on R&D, product management and industrial technology.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to clarify business needs, define candidate profiles and translate technical requirements into effective recruitment strategies.
- Proactively identify, approach and engage passive candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks and targeted search.
- Manage candidate assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding follow-up, ensuring a professional candidate experience throughout the process.
- Build talent maps and target-company lists for priority technical domains, including industrial automation, motor drives, power electronics, motion control, robotics and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain local recruitment channels, including specialist executive search firms, boutique agencies, professional associations and relevant industry networks.
- Conduct market research to understand talent availability, candidate motivations, compensation expectations and competitor talent landscapes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with relevant technical experts and potential candidates to support both immediate hiring needs and future talent requirements.
3. Business Partnership & Cross-border Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D and Product teams in China and Europe to understand technical roadmaps, organizational needs and critical talent gaps.
- Provide practical advice on candidate availability, talent-market conditions, recruitment feasibility and sourcing strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication between European candidates and China-based stakeholders, helping align expectations and bridge cross-cultural differences.
- Proactively identify changes in hiring requirements and advise stakeholders on alternative talent profiles and sourcing approaches where appropriate.
4. Recruitment Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor recruitment progress, sourcing effectiveness and pipeline conversion to improve hiring outcomes.
- Share European talent-market insights and recruitment best practices with the global TA team.
- Continuously improve candidate engagement, recruitment channel effectiveness and the overall hiring experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Solid experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably with a combination of in-house recruitment and executive search or agency recruitment.
- Proven experience recruiting senior professionals, technical specialists or hard-to-find talent, ideally in industrial technology, automation, electrical engineering, manufacturing or related sectors.
- Strong sourcing skills, including the ability to identify and engage passive candidates in competitive European talent markets.
- Experience working with business leaders and hiring managers to clarify requirements and assess candidates beyond their CVs.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior candidates and stakeholders in an international environment.
- Strong ownership, stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Europe as business needs require.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, capabilities and work location.
