IQM Quantum Computers is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to scale our expertise across Europe, APAC and the US. You will own end-to-end recruitment for complex technical roles and act as a strategic partner to leaders and hiring teams.

This role requires hands-on experience recruiting in engineering and deep-tech, strong stakeholder management, and a data-driven mindset. IQM offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities to influence growth across our global teams.

The work

We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to help IQM scale the people and expertise behind the next generation of quantum computing.

We are hiring for two positions with the same core profile, each supporting a different part of our organisation:

• Technology: partnering with teams working across quantum science, quantum computing, hardware and software engineering, and other highly specialised technical disciplines.
• Technical Operations: partnering with teams responsible for bringing quantum technology to life at scale, including QPU fabrication, technical services and other operationally critical capabilities.

Whichever area you support, you will be a strategic partner to leaders and hiring teams, owning recruitment for hard-to-find talent across Europe, APAC and the US. The roles range from scarce senior specialists to higher-volume hiring, so it takes both strategic judgement and a resilient, hands‑on attitude.

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating where technology, people and ambition meet — someone who can understand a complex technical profile, turn it into a compelling talent strategy, and bring the right people into the room.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Own end-to-end recruitment for complex technical roles, from intake and search strategy through sourcing, assessment and offer, and build proactive pipelines in competitive markets where specialist expertise is scarce.
• Partner with department leaders and People Business Partners to turn workforce plans into effective hiring strategies, bringing market intelligence and talent insight to hiring decisions.
• Lead international hiring across Europe, APAC and the US, navigating the practical realities of cross-border recruitment, relocation and local hiring requirements.
• Build our employer brand and use hiring data: work with Marketing & Communications to raise visibility in key talent markets, and track measures such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance and candidate experience to fix bottlenecks and improve how we hire.
• Bring structure and keep improving how we work: guide hiring teams to confident, evidence-based decisions while the hiring manager makes the final call, and proactively improve the TA team's processes, tools and ways of working.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 2 years in a senior or strategic TA Partner role, with a strong track record of delivering complex searches.
• Hands‑on experience recruiting technical talent in engineering, deep‑tech or research environments, ideally across hardware and software and in roles where expertise is scarce. This is essential, and the scope can grow from there.
• Strong stakeholder management, with the confidence to advise senior leaders, challenge assumptions and influence hiring decisions through evidence and market insight.
• Resilient and pragmatic: comfortable moving between hard‑to‑fill specialist searches and higher‑volume roles, and happy to roll up your sleeves to get hiring done.
• A data‑driven, organised approach, excellent communication across cultures, and a genuine commitment to inclusive, equitable hiring.

Bonus Skills

• Experience recruiting for quantum computing, semiconductors, advanced engineering, scientific research, manufacturing or other highly specialised technical fields.
• Experience recruiting in the US and/or UK, or across other international markets with different talent and employment landscapes.
• Experience with employer‑brand initiatives, technical communities, specialist events or other approaches to engaging hard‑to‑reach talent.
