OHB System AG – We.Create.Space in Bremen sucht einen erfahrenen (Senior) Systems Engineering Architect (m/w/d) für Navigationspayloads. Sie definieren Payload-Architekturen, erstellen Spezifikationen und bewerten End-to-End-Performance von Satelliten-Navigations-/Kommunikationssystemen und berichten regelmäßig an Kunden und Management.

Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektronik/Telekommunikation, etwa 10 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung und fundierte Kenntnisse in

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrischer/Elektro-Technik, Telekommunikation oder ähnlichem.
• 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem relevanten Bereich.
• Starker Hintergrund in Satelliten-Navigationspayloads oder vergleichbaren Bereichen.
• Praktische Erfahrung in der Payload-Architekturdefinition von Konzept bis Design und Validierung.
• Erfahrung mit Simulationen von Satelliten-Kommunikations-/Navigation-Systemen.
• Vertrautheit mit System-Engineering-Prozessen und zugehörigen Software-Tools.

Aufgaben

• Definieren der Architektur von Satelliten-Navigations-/Kommunikationspayloads und Ermitteln der End-to-End-Performance.
• Spezifikationen für Untersysteme, einschließlich Software, erstellen und Konformität prüfen.
• Kosten- und Leistungsbudgets des Systems pflegen und zu Gesamtbudgets beitragen.
• Architekturen und Lieferantenabstimmungen abwägen.
• Verifikation der Payload planen und zugehöriges EGSE spezifizieren.
• Testkampagnen unterstützen durch Analyse der Payload-Leistung und Auswirkung von Anomalien.
• Bericht an Kunde und Management.

(Senior) Systems Engineering Architect (m/f/d) Navigation Payloads

Your Tasks

• Define thearchitecture of satellite Navigation / Communication payloads and determinetheir end-to-end performance
• Write specifications for subsystems,including software, and assess compliance to requirements
• Maintain system and performance budgets andcontribute to the overall satellite/system ones
• Trade-off architectures and suppliers
• Plan verification of the payload and specifyassociated EGSE
• Support test campaigns by analyzing measuredpayload performance and assessing impact of anomalies/non-conformances
• Report to customer and senior management

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/ElectronicEngineering, Telecommunications, Signal Processing, or comparablediscipline
• 10 years of professionalexperience in a relevant field
• Strong background in satellitenavigation payloads or transferable domains
• Hands-on experience withpayload architecture definition, from concept to detailed design andvalidation
• Experience with simulation ofsatellite communication/navigation systems
• Familiarity with SystemEngineering processes and related Software tools
• Proficiency in relevantsimulation tools
• Experience in fast-pacedproduction environments would be an asset
