Position: Senior Supervisor Payroll

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing complex operational or policy-related issues and collaborating with the Payroll Manager to develop effective solutions
  • Lead initiatives aimed at process optimization, establishing standards for new processes
  • Independently manage and ensure the timely execution of payroll activities
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of personnel-related actions, such as contract modifications, new hires, and terminations
  • Provide support to departments and employees on matters related to tax and social security law
  • Handle various requests from government authorities
  • Prepare reports and conduct analysis as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in German (native or bilingual level) and have strong written and spoken English skills
  • Previous management experience and are ready to take on a leadership role, guiding your team with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
  • Several years of professional experience in payroll management in Germany, including familiarity with payroll systems
  • Proficiency in SAP HCM is essential for this role
  • Solid understanding of income tax and social security law
  • Comfortable working with the Office 365 suite of applications
  • Ability to optimize processes and a passion to continuously develop
  • Ability to regularly work from Osnabruck office
