Senior Strategy Manager
Heraeus Electronics is seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Manager to drive strategic initiatives, market intelligence, and our long‑term business direction towards 2030. In this role, you will directly support the Global Head of Finance (disciplinary reporting) and work in a functional, close partnership with the President of Heraeus Electronics. You will play a key role in shaping our global strategy, leading strategic analyses, and managing M&A activities across our global organization.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor global market and technology trends, competitor activities, and the performance of Heraeus Electronics.
- Derive insights and strategic implications in close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders across all regions.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the Global Leadership Team by preparing analysis, scenarios, and sound recommendations.
- Lead and manage the Heraeus Electronics Strategy Process, ensuring strategic clarity, high‑quality deliverables, and actionable conclusions.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the 2030 Target Picture, shaping strategic roadmaps and priorities.
- Ensure alignment across the organization by coordinating key strategic activities, communication streams, and milestone tracking.
- Manage M&A activities from target identification and screening to due diligence and post‑merger integration (PMI) according to the business strategy.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable M&A roadmaps, supported by a structured and transparent pipeline overview.
What is required for the role
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience from one or more of the following fields:
- Tier‑1 strategy consulting or a specialized consulting boutique.
- Corporate Strategy or Business Development in global industrial, automotive, or semiconductor companies.
- Experience working with global leadership teams and navigating complex, multi‑regional setups.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to structure and resolve complex challenges quickly and effectively.
- Confidence in interacting from shop floor to C‑level, combined with a cooperative and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Industry expertise in semiconductor or automotive environments, ideally involving technology‑driven product portfolios.
- A high degree of personal initiative, ownership, and drive.
- Business‑fluent English skills. Additional languages are an asset.
