Heraeus is seeking a highly motivated M&A professional with 5-7 years of relevant experience. You will advise Heraeus' senior executives on inorganic growth and lead transactions from origination to integration, applying rigorous financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess strategic fit, prepare presentations for Senior Executives, and identify new investment opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or natural sciences/engineering; MBA or graduate degree is a plus
• At least 5-7 years of relevant full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A or strategy consulting
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for financial modelling / analyses
• Passion for dealmaking and the ambition to drive growth with a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset
• Proven track record of high performance in dynamic environments, and excel at presenting, and communicating complex analyses to Senior Executives
• Thrive working with global cross-functional teams and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Very good English & German skills both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel (usually 10-20%)

• Advise Heraeus' senior executives on inorganic growth opportunities for its Operating Companies and Business Areas
• Lead and support M&A transactions across all phases—from origination to integration
• Perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence assessments; involved in negotiation and structuring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess strategic fit and deal rationale
• Identify and analyze new areas and investment opportunities of interest to Heraeus or its group companies
• Prepare and deliver presentations on opportunities, transaction progress, and strategic recommendations to Senior Executives

The following challenges await you:

• You advise Heraeus' Senior Executives on inorganic growth opportunities for its Operating Companies and Business Areas, thereby making you an essential part of Group strategy.
• You lead and support M&A transactions (e.g. buy/sell-sides, investments, partnerships) across all phases - from origination to integration.
• You perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence assessments and are involved in the subsequent negotiation and structuring of these transactions.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to assess strategic fit and deal rationale.
• You identify and analyse new areas and investment opportunities that are of interest to Heraeus or its group companies.
• You prepare and deliver presentations on opportunities, transaction progress, and strategic recommendations to Senior Executives, and serve as subject matter expert on M&A topics.

Your Profile:
