About the Role:

This role does not have direct reports. It requires advanced hands‑on development, technical design, and architecture within the software studio.

As a Senior Staff Engineer you will orchestrate technology solutions that align with business goals, design scalable and secure architectures, evaluate new technologies, and oversee high‑level designs. You will collaborate dynamically with cross‑functional teams, advocate best practices in architecture and design, and partner with business stakeholders to build sound business architectures. Your contributions will shape our future and ensure all solutions are innovative while adhering to architectural and security standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical strategy and vision for complex, multi‑domain Android platform needs, providing hands‑on engineering guidance to ensure successful execution.
• Act as a recognized thought leader, influencing architectural roadmaps and major technical investments across the organization, and contribute expertise on how evolving technology affects the domain.
• Work as part of a dynamic mobile team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Elevate the technical bar by mentoring and coaching engineers and other senior technical leaders, and providing mentorship to Junior, Intermediate, and Senior mobile associates.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands‑on development of Native Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
• At least 8 years of experience with application design, technical architecture/design, and development.
• Experience with RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, Jenkins, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience leading and mentoring Junior/Intermediate/Senior Associates and providing guidance to technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 10+ Years of experience leading the full life‑cycle of Software Development.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud products.
• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
