Job summary

Mindera is seeking a Senior/Staff Java Engineer to drive modernization of enterprise platforms. You will build scalable Java-based services, leverage basic React for front-end support, and lead the replacement of low-code solutions with custom cloud-native implementations.

You will collaborate with platform, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver observable, reliable, and maintainable systems, guided by strong observability, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in modern Java service development.
• Exposure to React (basic familiarity sufficient to work with Onyx).
• Experience migrating from or replacing low-code platforms such as PowerApps.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Senior / Staff Java Engineer to support the modernization of enterprise platforms. This role requires strong expertise in modern Java services, along with experience transitioning from low-code platforms to scalable, cloud-native architectures. The engineer will work closely with platform, UX, and DevOps teams to build reliable, observable, and maintainable systems.

Experience: 8?14 years (Senior / Staff level)

Work Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Pan India Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern Java-based services using contemporary frameworks and best practices
• Work with basic React to pick up and support Onyx for a simple front-end layer
• Lead or contribute to the conversion or replacement of low-code platforms (e.g., PowerApps) with custom-built solutions
• Collaborate across SharePoint, Logic Apps, and Azure Function Apps during platform transition phases
• Ensure strong focus on observability, testability, and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in DevOps and infrastructure-as-code discussions, contributing from an application engineering perspective
• Work closely with UX teams and implement features based on UX designs currently in progress
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and platform stability

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in modern Java service development
• Exposure to React (basic familiarity sufficient to work with Onyx)

• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Logic Apps, and Function Apps
