Innok Robotics in Regenstauf sucht einen Senior Softwareentwickler*in für mobile Roboter (m/w/d), um innovative Softwarelösungen für autonome mobile Roboter zu entwickeln. Sie bringen mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit und beherrschen Python, C++ sowie ROS/ROS 2. Zu den Aufgaben gehören die Entwicklung und Integration von Software, das Testen von Funktionen und die enge Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Teams. Qualifikationen

• Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung für mobile Roboter, idealerweise für AMRs oder AGVs.
• Praktische Erfahrung mit ROS/ROS 2.
• Ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse in Python und C++.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens Niveau C1).

Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Verantwortung für Softwarekomponenten für autonome mobile Roboter.
• Implementierung robuster Software in Python und C++ basierend auf ROS/ROS 2.
• Analyse komplexer Fehler-Szenarien und strukturierte Problemlösung.

Senior Softwareentwickler*in Mobile Roboter (m/w/d)

Who we are

Innok Robotics is one of the market and technology leaders in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Our robots not only drive indoors, but also outdoors and multi-terrain - even in problematic ground conditions. Snow and rain are also no problem for our AMRs.
We develop and produce advanced AMR solutions primarily for industrial and logistics companies, as well as numerous other sectors. Our customers include renowned companies such as Daimler, Hilti, e.on, Kali+Salz AG and Kubota. We are currently discussing AMR projects with BASF, ZF, BOSCH and Volvo, among others.
In parallel to current successful, extensive venture capital growth financing, we are now looking for new motivated colleagues to expand our experienced sales team in order to further drive our scale-up, specifically our company growth of over 100% per year.

Your role

• Several years’ experience in developing software for mobile robots, ideally for AMRs or AGVs.
• Practical experience with ROS/ROS 2, as well as with the integration, testing and debugging of distributed robotics systems.
• Advanced skills in Python and C++.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas is an advantage: localisation, navigation, sensor fusion, SLAM, microcontrollers, system integration or networking.
• Proficiency in Linux, Git, testing and modern development workflows.
• A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a hands-on attitude and an agile mindset.
• Willingness to work predominantly on-site in Regenstauf.
• Very good written and spoken German and English (minimum C1 level in both).

• You will develop and be responsible for software components for our autonomous mobile robots - from navigation and mission logic to integration on the vehicle.
• You will implement robust, reusable software in Python and C++ based on ROS/ROS 2.
• You will naturally use advanced AI tools and agents to maximise the efficiency of your working time.
• You will test and validate functions in simulation as well as on real robots in indoor and outdoor environments.
• You will analyse complex error scenarios involving the interaction of sensors, actuators and software, and resolve them in a structured manner.
• You will work closely with colleagues from software, electronics, mechanics and operations to rapidly integrate new functions into customer projects.
• You will actively contribute to shaping architecture, code quality and development and release processes, and share your knowledge within the team.
