Join us as a Senior Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d) App at Verivox GmbH.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive automation test strategies for backend (GraphQL) and frontend systems.
- Design, write, and execute functional and non-functional tests, across various conditions and device settings for Android and iOS platforms.
- Validate user stories and features as part of the release cycle, and support the product owner with drafting and refining requirements when needed.
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to uphold high-quality standards for our mobile app.
- Define, track, and analyze quality metrics, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.
- Manage release planning, and ensure deployment-ready tickets meet acceptance criteria.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and in-depth expertise in mobile app testing for native Android, native iOS and React Native platforms.
- Proficient understanding of platform-specific nuances for Android and iOS.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Appium, Detox, JEST, or similar tools.
- Ability to read and write code proficiently in at least one programming language (e.g. TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, React Native).
- Experience in end-to-end testing and monitoring of both frontend and backend applications.
- Familiarity with iOS testing and distribution tools such as TestFlight.
- Experience with performance profiling and monitoring tools specific to mobile apps (e.g., Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
- Bonus points for expertise in performance, visual, contract, GDPR, accessibility, interoperability, or security testing.
- Familiarity with testing and validating Google Analytics GA3/GA4 tracking and funnel setups for monitoring user behavior and app performance.
- A proactive team player who excels in risk assessment, issue prioritization, and collaborative problem-solving.
