Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to lead practical R&D in Generative AI and to build end-to-end features using FastAPI, Angular, and AWS. You will own the development lifecycle from commit to production and shape architectural decisions with strong ownership.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, conducting thorough system design reviews, and driving measurable impact in real-world use cases, including finance/markets domains where relevant.

Qualifikationen

• Proactive in leveraging Generative AI tools to improve development workflows with measurable impact.
• Strong interest in finance, markets, or investing with a willingness to develop domain expertise.
• 5+ years of experience delivering production software in Python/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to take work from problem to solution.
• Nice to have: Microservices architecture experience.
• Nice to have: Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.
• Nice to have: Experience with Angular frontend framework.
• Nice to have: Terraform or AWS CDK experience.

• Build and ship full-stack features using FastAPI, Angular, and AWS, owning the process from commit to production.
• Make key technical decisions, drive architectural discussions, and mentor other engineers through code reviews and system design.

Qualifications

• Proactive in leveraging Generative AI tools to improve development workflows with measurable impact (not just buzzwords).
• Strong interest in finance, markets, or investing (e.g., equities, ETFs) with a willingness to develop domain expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with 5+ years of experience delivering production software.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (ideally AWS).
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong sense of ownership, demonstrating initiative, independence, and the ability to carry work from problem to solution.
• Nice to have: Experience with microservices architecture.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
