Your mission

As a Senior Software Engineer for Technology Partnerships in Robotics domain, you will be the technical bridge between Wandelbots NOVA and our ecosystem of technology partners relating to software, periphery and sensors. This hybrid role combines deep engineering expertise with partner-facing collaboration. You will have two core tasks:

  • Build, own and support integrations that extend the value of NOVA, ensuring for our partners.
  • Empower our partners to build, own and support scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions themselves.

On a daily basis you will:
  • Drive Integration Engineering: Translate partner requirements into robust technical designs and integration workflows.
  • Hands‑on Development: Build proofs‑of‑concept, extend NOVA APIs/SDKs, and ensure smooth cross‑system connectivity.
  • Guide Partner Teams: Support partner engineers through the full integration process, from design to deployment.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with Product & Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Success to align integrations with business needs.
  • Represent NOVA: Lead technical discussions with partner engineering leads and evangelize our API‑first, scalable architecture.
  • Document & Share Knowledge: Create clear internal documentation and partner‑facing guides to enable adoption.
Your profile
  • Solid understanding of NOVA platform architecture, APIs, SDKs, and integration workflows.
  • Strong software engineering background (backend/frontend, cloud environments, modern frameworks).
  • Experience with system integration and troubleshooting connectivity issues across platforms.
  • Familiarity with developer documentation best practices and Git workflows.
  • Understanding of partner technology ecosystems (automation, robotics, IIoT, SaaS).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive your own work with a high degree of autonomy, while taking responsibility for customer outcomes.
  • Fluency in English and German.
You are awesome if:
  • You have prior experience in pre‑sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
  • You have exposure to industrial automation, robotics, or partner ecosystems.
  • You bring public speaking or training experience for workshops and enablement.
  • You are connected in the automation/robotics developer community.
