Zusammenfassung

IONOS Cloud runs on highly available, redundant block storage that must be provisioned quickly, reliably and at scale. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the provisioning software behind it and to build on the Linux storage stack rather than reinventing it.

You will design and implement the next generation of storage provisioning, add monitoring and alerting, migrate legacy components safely, and ensure provisioning remains highly available with robust failover.

• Maintain and improve our existing block storage provisioning
• Design and develop the next generation of our storage provisioning
• Add monitoring and alerting for the provisioning workflow to detect failures early
• Make provisioning robust against failures and safe to retry
• Design and implement provisioning that keeps storage highly available and redundant, including failover
• Analyze and resolve complex issues across the storage stack, from the Linux kernel up to the provisioning layer
• Migrate from legacy components step by step, without breaking existing users
