Business Area

The Senior Software Engineer for Computational Pathology specializes in developing, optimizing, deploying, and maintaining software that handles large image data with AI algorithms. This role is key in deploying computational pathology applications for clinical use.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable AI-based image analysis solutions for large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and implement software systems for AI image processing.
• Optimize algorithms for performance and scalability across platforms.
• Create technical documentation including specifications, design, and user guides.
• Maintain data quality and integrity throughout workflows.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software applications.
• Act as a technical liaison to advance new computational pathology solutions.

Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree is acceptable.

Strong Python programming skills; experience with low-level languages like C++ or Rust is a plus.

Experience deploying cloud solutions, familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and data frameworks like Kubeflow or Flyte.

Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is advantageous.

Domain knowledge in SaMD, AI systems, or SaMD validation is a strong asset.

Proficiency with git, CI / CD tools, JIRA, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
