Job summary

CTS EVENTIM AG & Co. KGaA in Bremen seeks a seasoned backend software engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure services that power our global live experiences.

You will contribute to AI-native application development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and TypeScript in a fast-moving team. You will help re-architect systems for high availability, integrate services in an event-driven, API-first style, and ensure observability, performance, and security with Grafana Cloud.

Qualifications

• Proven product builder mindset with ability to collaborate with development teams, product, and stakeholders.
• Mastery of several languages and ecosystems – Java and TypeScript used here.
• Production-grade experience with stacks like Spring Boot, Angular, including test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance services using Java, Spring Boot & Spring Cloud.
• Help re-architecting our systems and processes delivering millions of tickets.
• Safely integrate internal and external systems with event-driven, API-first approaches.
• Evolve AI-ready architecture and responsible AI usage patterns with the team.
• Ensure end-to-end observability, performance, and security (Grafana Cloud).
• Embrace and optimize you build it, you run it with your team.
