TOMRA Mining is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software powering our sensor-based sorting solutions for the mining industry. You will work in a small, international team across image and data processing, machine learning, UI, system integration and software architecture.

You will collaborate with experts in minerals processing, sensor tech, physics and electronics to deploy solutions at customer sites worldwide, gaining real-world insight and creating value

Qualifikationen

Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you design, develop and maintain the software that powers TOMRA Mining's sensor-based sorters. Working in a small and highly collaborative team, you contribute across a wide range of technical areas, including image and data processing, machine learning, user interfaces, system integration and software architecture.

You will collaborate closely with experts in minerals processing, sensor technology, physics, optics, electronics and mechanical engineering to develop sensor-based sorting solutions for the mining industry. You will also have opportunities to test and validate your software at customer sites around the world, gaining first-hand insight into how your solutions perform in real operating environments and create value for our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain software for our sensor-based sorting solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept and implementation to deployment and long-term maintenance.
