EthiFinance, a European credit and sustainability analytics group, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Technology team and contribute to our sustainability data platform.

You will design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in a cloud environment, mentor juniors and collaborate with product, data and engineering across borders.

The role offers hybrid work with international exposure and a path to influence architecture and development practices.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong experience with backend development (Golang, Java, C#, Python or similar).
• Experience designing and delivering scalable software solutions in a cloud environment.
• Solid understanding of API design and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Docker and ideally also Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Fluent English is required.

Context

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team and contribute to the ongoing development of our sustainability data platform.

Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in designing, building and improving the systems that power our products and services. Working closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of scalable, reliable and secure solutions while supporting the continuous evolution of our technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture

Profile required
