You will design baseband signals and implement DSP algorithms within our signal generator platform, collaborating with FPGA and hardware teams to align interfaces and data formats. You will prototype in MATLAB and Python and implement in C++, validating with simulations that model noise, non-linearities, timing and jitter.

• Design and implement complex baseband signals within the existing signal generator platform.

Introduction

Shape the future of high-performance signal generation with advanced DSP, simulation, and AI-assisted development.

Tasks

• You will design and implement complex baseband signals within the existing signal generator platform, including software components and the hardware co-processor.
• DSP algorithms such as frequency and phase response correction, IQ impairment compensation, linearization and calibration procedures will be defined, specified and designed by you.
• In C++, you will implement, optimize and verify algorithms, while using MATLAB and Python for prototyping, analysis and validation.
• You will model and simulate transmission systems to verify algorithms, system behavior and technical specifications.
• Test and verification routines, including unit tests, integration tests, automated simulations and measurement setup checks, will be developed and maintained by you.
• In close collaboration with FPGA, hardware and testing teams, you will define interfaces, register maps, data formats and integration requirements.
• You will design and execute end-to-end simulations of the complete signal chain, including noise, non-linearities, timing and jitter effects, and calibration flows.
• Shift-left practices and AI-assisted development tools will be used by you to speed up prototyping, test creation and routine coding tasks, while ensuring review, reproducibility and traceability.
