Job summary

TGW Logistics in Regensburg and Teunz is seeking a software engineer to design and develop modern .NET applications with a strong focus on performance and scalability. You will work with experts to analyze requirements, create robust concepts, and contribute to high-quality software across the lifecycle.

You will test thoroughly (unit, integration, system), document clearly, and push existing components to the next level through maintenance and optimization.

Qualifications

• You have a technical degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Several years of software development experience, ideally in logistics.
• Proficient in .NET/C# and familiar with Oracle.
• Apply agile methods like Scrum or Kanban in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements with subject matter experts and craft concepts.
• Design and develop modern .NET applications with focus on performance.
• Thoroughly test solutions (unit/integration/system) and document clearly.
• Maintain and enhance existing components for better performance.
• Support system commissioning and project rollouts with customers.

What you'll be handling:

• Together with subject matter experts, you’ll analyze requirements and develop well-thought-out concepts.

What you'll need:

• You have a technical degree with a focus on software engineering or comparable experience.
• You have several years of experience in software development—ideally, but not necessarily, in the logistics sector.
• You are proficient in .NET / C# and are also familiar with Oracle.
• You understand agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and apply them in your daily work.
• You think conceptually, take a solution-oriented approach, and actively contribute your ideas.
• You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and communicate clearly—including in German and English.
