You will have overall technical responsibility for the project and act as the link between the project management team and the client, briefing the site management team accordingly. On site you coordinate the management team, chair meetings with clients and subcontractors, provide technical guidance, ensure quality, safety, deadlines and costs,

Qualifikationen

• University degree in civil engineering or architecture or technical qualification with relevant experience.
• 5–8 years’ practical site management experience in turnkey building construction.
• At least 2 years in a senior site manager or comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of VOB regulations and nationwide project management requirements.

• Provide technical guidance to site managers, building services managers and junior site managers.

• Invoicing for construction work and checking invoices and quantity surveys.
• Document progress and communicate with stakeholders; support the client during warranty periods.

You will take on the role of senior site manager with specialist responsibility for all trades involved in turnkey building construction You will have overall technical responsibility for the respective construction project You will act as the direct link between the project management team and the client You will review the fundamentals of the construction project and brief the site management team accordingly During the execution of the construction project, you will coordinate and support the site management team On site, you will act as the point of contact for the client You will attend and chair meetings with clients and subcontractors You provide technical guidance to site managers, building services managers and junior site managers You ensure compliance with quality, safety, deadlines and costs in a goal-oriented manner Tendering and awarding contracts for subcontractor services are also part of your responsibilities You will independently invoice for construction work You will carefully check invoices and quantity surveys You document the progress of the construction work and the relevant processes During the warranty period, you continue to provide customer-focused support to the client You manage the project in accordance with the applicable company guidelines and standards You have a degree in civil engineering or architecture, or alternatively a technical qualification with several years’ relevant professional experience You have at least 5–8 years’ practical experience as a site manager in turnkey building construction You also have at least 2 years’ experience as a senior site manager or in a comparable position You must have in-depth industry knowledge of industrial and/or commercial construction; experience in residential construction alone is not sufficient A sound knowledge of the VOB regulations forms part of your professional expertise You have experience in resource planning and coordinating with all parties involved in the construction process You are proficient in using MS Office; knowledge of programmes such as MS Project, CAD, ORCA or AVA software is an advantage You have business-level German (min. C1) and very good written and spoken English (min. B2–C1), as you will be communicating regularly with international clients and the Japanese management You must hold a valid Class B driving licence Willingness to travel and work nationwide is a prerequisite for this role Opportunities for professional development Regular training and further education In the long term, there are opportunities for development and promotion to project manager
