watttron develops and manufactures high-precision digital heating technologies for industrial applications. With our innovative approach to digital heating, we enable temperature profiles that can be controlled with pixel-level precision, allowing for targeted and efficient heating exactly where it is needed. This improves process quality, reduces energy consumption, and saves material. Today, our solutions are primarily used in the packaging industry, where they enable the processing of recyclable monomaterials and thus support the transition to sustainable packaging.
Building on this successfully established heating and temperature control technology, we are increasingly tapping into new fields of application. A particular focus is on the semiconductor industry: We are transferring the technology developed in the packaging sector to the world of semiconductor manufacturing, thereby addressing current challenges in the thermal design of chucks for 300-mm wafer processing, in the testing of high-performance (AI) chips and HPC memory, and in future panel interposer processing. In doing so, we contribute to more efficient manufacturing processes for state-of-the‑art AI processors and strengthen one of the world’s most dynamic industries today.
