SÜSS MicroTec AG is seeking a technically skilled engineer to contribute to product development in lithography, wafer bonding, and packaging. You will collaborate across customer, R&D, and internal teams to create robust concepts, perform calculations, and document solutions with a strong emphasis on quality.

The role emphasizes ownership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering on tight schedules in a high-precision environment.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree or technician qualification with strong technical background.
• Experience in product development or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor or high-precision environments is advantageous.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate in customer, R&D, CIP, and internal optimization projects
• Develop and evaluate technical concepts and designs, including specifications and project planning input
• Create risk assessments, calculations, drawings, assembly/installation instructions, and technical documentation
• Own BOMs/parts lists, CAD models, and technical solutions, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Deliver work packages on time, manage priorities, and escalat conflicts when required
• Support prototype build and testing, production, purchasing, and customer project execution with technical expertise

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or State-Certified Technician qualification with strong technical expertise
• Experience in product development, mechanical engineering, and ideally the semiconductor industry
• Strong organizational skills with a structured and results-oriented approach
• High level of ownership, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure
• Focused, analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and openness to feedback
