Axel Springer Tech GmbH is building and operating secure digital products at scale in Berlin. You will collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to strengthen security across the SDLC, shaping secure architectures and enabling teams with AI-enabled security approaches.

The role emphasizes hands-on security design, vulnerability analysis, and training engineers in secure practices while promoting modern security technologies throughout products and pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional IT security experience.
• Focus on web app security or cloud security.
• Experience in application development with modern languages and frameworks.
• Deep expertise in security for containers, distributed systems, large-scale web apps and AI systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex topics.
• Experience delivering talks, workshops and security awareness initiatives.

Responsibilities
