We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist with expertise in natural product chemistry to join our dynamic team in Potsdam. What You Will Do

• Manage projects and corresponding client communication
• Prepare project proposals, cost analyses, presentations, and detailed reports
• Collaborate closely with lab managers and business development to drive projects forward
• Organize and coordinate tasks within our natural product chemistry labs
• Generate and promote new product ideas based on natural product bioactives for internal R&D and / or external customer projects

Your profile

• Ph.D. in Natural Product Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Biology) or related fields
• Postdoctoral or industry experience is a plus
• Deep knowledge in natural product chemistry (plants, microbes) and analytical techniques (HPLC-MS, NMR)
• Experienced in isolating and elucidating structures of secondary metabolites from plants and microbial strains
• Additional skills in industrial extraction, formulation, food product development, or regulatory approval (EFSA, GRAS) are a plus
• Passionate about interdisciplinary fields as botany, medicinal / food chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, or metabolomics
• Strong project management skills and leadership abilities with a structured and team-oriented approach
• Excellent communicator with business fluent English and at least basic German skills
