Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll consultant to advise customers and customize PY workflows. You will design schemas, implement calculation rules, and optimize SAP processes across international teams.

The role focuses on SAP BTP and S/4HANA integration, with opportunities to draft ABAP specifications and collaborate with external developers. Strong German and English skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience—at least 5 years—in SAP HCM Payroll (PY) customizing.
• In-depth knowledge of schemas, calculation rules, and payroll processes.
• Experience advising and supporting customers.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Enjoy working with international teams.
• Preferred: Knowledge of ABAP.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP BTP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Preferred: Experience leading subprojects.

Aufgaben

• Advise and support existing customers in the further development of their SAP HCM application systems
• Independently customize SAP HCM Payroll (PY), including schemas and calculation rules
• Analyze business requirements and develop practical, sustainable solution concepts
• Contribute to the continuous optimization of processes and workflows in the SAP HCM environment
• Design and further develop modern SAP solutions with a focus on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA
• Prepare specifications for ABAP development and collaborate with the external development team
• Support the further development of customer-specific system landscapes and applications
• Optional: Develop smaller customer solutions using ABAP, such as BAdIs, reports, or enhancements
