Westernacher Consulting in Germany seeks a Senior SAP Master Data Management Consultant (m/f/d) to lead SAP S/4HANA transformations, shape master data strategies, and deliver hands‑on data migration and quality solutions in an international environment.

You will own sub‑projects, guide data profiling, scoping, and quality improvements, and collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration across processes during the move to SAP S/4HANA.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or related field.
• Extensive experience guiding SAP S/4HANA transformations from an MDM perspective.
• Experience with Customer Vendor Integrations and Material Ledger.

Aufgaben

• Independently deliver SAP MDKM projects in SAP Master Data Management for SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Develop and define comprehensive master data management strategies for clients.
• Guide and implement key master data topics including Customer Vendor Integration (Business Partners) and Material Ledger; own solutions end-to-end.
• Profile data, scope migrations, assess data quality, and guide customers to improve readiness before the move.
• Lead sub-projects in the MDM space, plan, execute, and coordinate activities.
• Plan and drive data migration with emphasis on quality and integrity; utilize external tools as needed.
• Collaborate with FI/CO and SD/MM teams to ensure seamless process integration.

Join Our Team as a Senior SAP Master Data Management Consultant (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about driving SAP S/4HANA transformations and shaping master data strategies? In this role, you will lead critical projects, guide clients through complex data challenges, and ensure seamless integration across processes. As a trusted expert, you will take ownership of sub-projects, deliver hands‑on solutions for data migration and quality, and collaborate closely with functional teams in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Role

• Independent Project Delivery: Leverage your expertise in the execution of SAP projects in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and become a valuable team member in a dynamic, international environment
• Master Data Management Strategy: Develop and define comprehensive master data management strategies for our clients
• SAP S/4HANA Transformations: Guide and implement key master data topics such as Customer Vendor Integration for Business Partners, Material Ledger, and master data quality, taking ownership of solutions from design to execution.
• Data Profiling, Scoping & Quality: Profiling of data in current ERP system, defining scope of migration, assessing data quality and guiding customers to improve data quality and readiness before the move to SAP S/4HANA.
• Sub-Project Leadership: Take ownership of sub-projects in the master data management field, leading their planning, execution, and coordination, while applying your experience in the MDM space
• Data Migration: Plan and drive data migration processes with a focus on ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity, including the use of external tools for data migration.
• Collaborate closely with Functional Stream Leads (FI/CO, SD/MM) to ensure seamless integration across processes

Your Profile

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in guiding customers through their SAP S/4HANA transformations from a master data management perspective
• Experience with topics such as Customer Vendor Integrations (Business Partners) and Material Ledger
• Background in any SAP functional module (MM/SD/PP/FI, etc.)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transformation projects, including knowledge of best practices for data governance and data migration
• Understand various transition paths from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA such as Greenfield, Bluefield, Brownfield
• Basic knowledge of SAP Business Transformation tools such as SAP Readiness Check, SAP CALM / WalkMe, SAP Business Transformation Center is an advantage
• Knowledge in SAP MDG is considered an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Willingness to travel
