ERP Beratung is seeking a (Senior) SAP Logistics Consultant to drive the transition from WM to EWM on S/4 HANA. The role focuses on global rollout across 45+ countries, with a roadmap to upgrade WM to EWM in all warehouses.

You will guide cross-functional teams, shape solution design, and support ongoing enhancements. The position requires extensive SAP WM/EWM experience, ECC6.0/S4HANA implementation, and strong German/English skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on knowledge within SAP WM and/or EWM.
• Experience with implementation in ECC6.0 and/or S/4 HANA.
• B2 level (German) and English proficiency.
• International project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

This candidate MUST have the following:

• Extensive hands on knowledge within SAP WM and/or EWM

Role

My client, a global end customer based in Kassel, Germany are looking to recruit a (Senior) Consultant to assist in the area of SAP Logistics to come in and take responsibility for their transition from their entire Warehouse Management System for around 100+ entities worldwide, by having both EWM and S/4 HANA live globally by 2032

The first stage of the project is to implement S/4 HANA and conduct a rollout across 45 different countries within the EMEA, NATAM and APAC Regions with this project will most likely conclude in 2028/2029. The next stage would be to upgrade from the standard WM system and introduce SAP EWM for all warehouses within the group, worldwide

Your role as the (Senior) Consultant will expect you to be a contributing factor to different phases of the implementation lifecycle. You will be heavily involved in business process consulting for internal projects as well as internal customers. You will identify the issues, propose and develop the solution and play an important role in the development, configuration and release of the solution. You will also assist in the transition and development into SAP EWM

You will guide teams, both internals and externals on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.

You will have the opportunity to propose value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the developing needs for their worldwide landscape. As you grow with the business, you will also be tasked with (optional) Project Management of future rollouts across EMEA, APAC, NATAM. Within this company, you would be able to work up to 4 days remotely per week with an average 4 days in the office per month. Some travel might be required for international rollouts

Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Perform Business Requirement discussions and solutioning in SAP WM system.
• Create and analyse SAP WM functional specs
• Configuration of SAP WM, define and execute tests scenarios, training of key users and or business users
• Working on the material handling systems and integrating them to SAP WM solutions.
• You’ll be in charge of designing, developing, and testing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) on S/4 HANA
• Contributing to architectural decisions for integration and automation projects
• Supporting the cross-functional projects and implementing initiatives to further develop the system landscape.
• You advise our specialist departments on optimization opportunities in logistics processes and their integration into adjacent modules such as PP and SD .
• Once implemented, you actively contribute to the further development of our SAP EWM system landscapes – taking into account the latest SAP technologies beyond 2032.
• Identifying the inbound processes with and without quality inspection from vendors, outbound process for STO and Customer Shipments and internal warehouse movements
• Support and contact person for the solutions used in the field of logistics and warehouse management (WM / EWM)
• Attend and performs meetings and workshops
• Work and liaise with Onshore/Offshore/Nearshore teams
