Job summary

ORAI Solutions GmbH is a Germany-based SAP consultancy specializing in SAP BTP and Business AI. Our team is small and deliberately senior, with direct client engagement and no rotating junior staff.

As the SAP Architect/Lead, you will design BTP architectures, guide integration, and oversee security concepts, licensing, and project delivery while remaining closely aligned with client needs and our product strategy.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as an architect or lead developer in SAP projects, including multiple years focused on SAP BTP.
• Solid knowledge of BTP runtimes (Cloud Foundry, Kyma), destinations, connectivity and principal propagation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP CAP or RAP and with SAP Integration Suite; good understanding of S/4HANA interfaces and core-system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing SAP landscapes and design BTP architectures for extensions, integration and Business AI.
• Advise on Clean Core: determine what belongs in standard, what is side-by-side on BTP, and what as an ABAP Cloud extension.
• Plan global account and subaccount structures, security concepts with IAS and XSUAA, and connections of on-premise systems via Cloud Connector.
• Evaluate BTP services and licensing models and estimate effort and cost realistically.
• Get hands-on when it matters and review the work of the project team.
• Represent architecture decisions to IT management and business stakeholders.

You design the target architecture on SAP BTP for our clients and see it through to production. You are the technical point of contact for business departments and the clients' SAP teams.

ORAI is an SAP consultancy focused on SAP BTP and Business AI. Our team is small and deliberately senior: clients work directly with experienced people, without an account layer and without a rotating junior team.

What you'll do

• You analyse existing SAP landscapes and design BTP architectures for extensions, integration and Business AI
• You advise on Clean Core: which requirement belongs in the standard, which as a side-by-side extension on BTP and which as an ABAP Cloud extension in the system
• You plan global account and subaccount structures, security concepts with IAS and XSUAA, and the connection of on-premise systems via Cloud Connector
• You evaluate BTP services and licensing models and estimate effort and cost realistically
• You get hands-on when it matters and review the work of the project team
• You represent architecture decisions to IT management and business stakeholders

What you bring

• Solid knowledge of BTP runtimes (Cloud Foundry, Kyma), destinations, connectivity and principal propagation
• Hands-on experience with SAP CAP or RAP and with SAP Integration Suite

• Interest in Business AI, such as SAP AI Core, Joule or custom LLM applications
• You can explain complex topics so that non-technical people can follow
• Fluent German and good English
