About You and This Role
As a Senior Sales Specialist you will support and manage small to medium‑size accounts within the Industrial, Consumer, Food and Specialty Packaging markets. You will be part of a regional team covering northern Europe in Dow’s Packaging and Specialty Plastics business focusing on customers primarily located in Germany. Your key objectives are to drive sales growth in alignment with our sales and marketing plans, deliver on performance metrics and enhance the customer experience through operational efficiency and innovative product solutions. You will act as an internal advocate for your customers balancing business goals with customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand your account portfolio, strengthening Dow’s presence in the region.
- Understand customer needs to differentiate Dow and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new product development opportunities within the market.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, expanding your network across various levels of customer organizations.
- Execute sales and marketing plans, delivering on volume and value targets in coordination with cross‑functional teams.
- Develop sales forecasts in partnership with Production and Supply Chain teams.
- Collect and utilize market intelligence to inform sales strategies and support new product development decisions.
- Lead negotiations and implement pricing strategies aligned with business goals, considering legal requirements, customs regulations and Dow sales processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver superior customer experience results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This role is part of the North Europe regional team with a primary customer base in Germany.
