Scalable Capital GmbH in Berlin is seeking a (Senior) Rust Software Engineer to develop high-throughput, low-latency financial systems. The role involves designing and building Rust services that process critical workflows under performance constraints.

• Excellent systems thinking: latency, throughput, backpressure, and failure modes.
• Experience building high-performance services in production.
• Experience with low-latency systems.
• Strong analytical thinking both technically and in product domain.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for well-architected, testable, and documented code.
• Experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex) is a plus.
• Experience with domain-driven design and microservices is a plus.
• Background in financial services and compliance or audit exposure is a strong plus.
