Scalable Capital is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join one of our product teams, building powerful, intuitive UIs on React and TypeScript. You will translate complex workflows into maintainable interfaces and collaborate with backend and platform engineers to scale fintech services.

Our frontend stack emphasizes component reuse, design systems, and testable architecture. You will work in agile teams, contribute to CI/CD, and help ensure accessibility and performance across web apps.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in computer science or engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Frontend development experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Cypress, HTML5/CSS3.
• Strong passion for UI/UX, web performance, and accessibility.
• Ability to think creatively and work independently.

• Clear, concise communication with engineers, product, and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be a key member of one of our product teams responsible for designing and building powerful, intuitive UIs that support critical processes, from transaction monitoring to corporate action workflows and operational dashboards. Our frontend stack is built on React and TypeScript, with strong foundations in component reuse, design systems, and testable architecture.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand complex workflows and translate them into well-structured, maintainable user interfaces.

This role is a great fit if you care about clean UX even in utility-driven environments, enjoy working closely with backend and platform engineers, and want to make a direct impact on the scalability and efficiency of a fast-growing fintech company.

Responsibilities

• You work with cutting-edge technologies and participate in modern software development practices (e.g., agile and self-managed teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure, and tooling).
• Engage with our cloud-native, DevOps-enabled infrastructure, utilizing AWS services like ECS, Fargate, Lambda among others.
• You write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code and treat security as a first-class citizen
• You bring products to production and reveal real business value
• You can improve engineering excellence in the team

Qualifications

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Previous work experience in frontend development, in technologies like TypeScript, React, NextJs, Cypress, WebPack, Material Design, Express, HTML5, CSS3
• A strong passion for outstanding UI/UX, web performance, and accessibility
• Ability to think outside the box and to work independently
• Analytical proficiency, both in the technical and in the product domain
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders
• Practical experience in AWS or another cloud provider
• Professional proficiency in English
• Experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex or similar AI‑assisted development tools) is a plus.
