Job summary

Sereact GmbH is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to develop, implement, and refine software for mobile manipulators and automation systems. You will focus on perception, planning, and execution to enable precise manipulation in real-world environments, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in robotics, strong ROS 2 and Gazebo experience, and proficiency in Python and C++, with exposure to Docker/Kubernetes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in developing robotic systems or automation platforms.
• Solid experience with ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments.
• Experience working with perception systems like cameras, LiDAR, or depth sensors.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software for robotic systems with a focus on motion planning, perception, and control.
• Design algorithms for path planning, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance.
• Implement and test advanced software for sensor fusion, localization, and mapping.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate robotic arms, grippers, and sensors.
• Work with middleware platforms like ROS 2 for real-time communication and modularity.
• Optimize system performance for real-time operation in production environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across software and hardware systems to ensure robust operation.
