Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in robotics or embodied AI, strong Python and DL skills, and hands-on experience with simulators and RL. English proficiency is required, and C++ is a plus.

RoboService solves the "Last Mile" of humanoid robotics. While manufacturers provide the hardware and foundation models, these general-purpose "brains" are not yet ready for the specific, accurate tasks of a production line. We bridge that gap. We build a stack that is "AI Enabled", but provides safety and reliability through deterministic orchestration. We are not a research lab; we are shipping code that moves atoms. Launched in July 2025 by repeat founders with successful exits, we are looking for engineers who want to take robots out of the lab and onto the factory floor.

Tasks

We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to build fully autonomous robots. Our tech stack provides a large part of the infrastructure and core components to build reliable automations with Humanoids. However, each project needs customizations. Your task will be to adjust our tech stack to the specific use case you are working on. Additionally, you will be further enhancing and extending our tech stack. You won't be writing papers. You will be working on:

• ROS 2 Development: Develop and integrate ROS 2 packages to enable reliable communication, control, and coordination across robotic systems.
• Data Pipeline & Imitation Learning: Manage the data pipeline and oversee teleoperation and imitation-learning activities to ensure high-quality training data. Manage large datasets required for model fine-tuning.
• Reinforcement Learning (RL): Apply RL techniques to fine-tune robot actions, ensuring robust performance on the production line.
• Simulation & Sim-to-Real: Use high-fidelity simulation environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse to train and test agents before deploying them to physical hardware.

Requirements

• Education: BS / MS in Robotics OR equivalent robotics experience.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, deep learning, or embodied AI.
• Robotics Middleware: Familiarity with ROS2 (Robot Operating System), including navigation, manipulation, and driver integration.
• Core ML Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX). Experience with Transformers and VLA architectures is highly desirable.
• Simulation: Some experience with physics-based simulators, specifically NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar (Gazebo, MuJoCo).
• Data Engineering: Ability to manage high quality demonstration datasets, automate data cleaning, and build training pipelines.
• Pioneering : Experience debugging hardware/software interfaces on non-standard platforms. Strong in Python (C++ is a +) Proficiency in English.
